This inaugural course on hospital medicine is jointly organised by
the Division of Medicine together with SGH Postgraduate Medical
Institute (PGMI) with support from the College of Family Physicians,
Singapore. It consists of a comprehensive curriculum designed to
cover important aspects of inpatient medical care including specialty
updates and chronic disease management. Didactic lectures and
workshops will be integral components of the course.
The course aims to:
Equip participants with the knowledge and skill set to manage a patient's journey through the hospital
update participants on the latest evidence available in the care of these patients
improve care-co-ordination and transition care between the acute hospital and the community.
The course will be relevant for both family physicians working in hospitals as well as in outpatient settings. It will also be suitable for resident physicians working in the hospital settings (acute and community) as well as medical officers and trainees in family and internal medicine.
Cost : S$ 50 per module S$ 120 for 3 modules
